Various K3 Month Activities Held at Festival Ancol Beach

The Jakarta Provincial Government through the Occupational Safety and Health Month (K3) 2025 Committee held a series of activities at Festival Ancol Beach, North Jakarta, Saturday (2/15).

The event was attended by 800 participants consisting of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) and Jakarta Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD)representatives of employers, and workers who joined the Labor Union (SP/SB).

During the event, various activities were held to raise awareness of the importance of occupational safety and health, from the Jakarta Safety Run 2025, Gowes Bulan K3, Gymnastics Bulan K3, Social Service, to awarding of trophies and prizes for the winners of the Volley Ball K3 Tournament.

Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy (Nakertransgi) Agency Head, Hari Nugroho, said the K3 Month aims to promote occupational safety and health in all companies and workplaces in Jakarta.

"Through this activity, we want to remind that the K3 culture must always be applied. We want to reduce the work accident rate in companies and factories. Workers are not only about earning money, but their safety and health must also be a priority," he uttered.

He also highlighted that dependence on technology has reduced physical activity, which can lead to higher risk of diseases such as diabetes, high cholesterol and so on.

"With today's activity, we are trying to remind the importance of sports activities to ensure safety and health for workers in the workplace," he added.

According to him, Jakarta Nakertransgi Agency will continue to supervise the implementation of K3 in companies.

"We routinely check whether the K3 norms and K3 Management System (SMK3) have been implemented properly. If there are violations, we give warnings to sanctions, and may even revoke business licenses if the violations are serious," he stated.

To wrap up the K3 Month series, the peak event will take place on April 11, 2025 at Ancol Festival Beach which will be enlivened by a music concert with guest star NDX AKA.

"(We are) targeting 20,000 spectators," he mentioned.

Meanwhile, VP Corporate Secretary of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, Martua Hami Siregar, shared that this year Ancol received the mandate as the Chairperson of Jakarta K3 Month Committee.

It is hoped that these activities will increase the awareness of the importance of K3 among workers and employers, so that Jakarta becomes a city with a strong occupational safety and health culture.

"Ancol fully supports this activity so that it runs smoothly and festively. And we are committed to ensuring the K3 implementation in each of our activities and work environment," he expressed.
